Corn Puff Extruder :
Corn Puff Extruder machine is used in the Food Processing Industrial Prodcution Lines of Wheat,Rice Starch or Corn based puff snacks, like cheese puffs, popcorn, wafers or puffed corn-based products.
Extruder Machine Components:
The following parts make up corn puff extruders, which are operated by an automated control panel.
Feeding System: The extruder is fed raw materials (cornmeal, starches, water, seasonings, rice flour, and maize flour) through a hopper.
The extruder barrel is where the components are mixed and cooked. The mixture is heated and compressed in this long, cylindrical chamber.

Screw (or Auger): As the materials are being ground and mixed, the screw inside the barrel forces them forward. The final puffed product’s size and texture are determined by the screw design and speed.

Heating and Pressurization: The barrel cooks and applies pressure to the mixture. Heat and pressure cause the contents to change as it approaches the die, aiding in the mixture’s puffing as it comes out.
Shaping Die: At the end of the extruder, there’s a die or nozzle that shapes the mixture into specific shapes like puffs, balls,Curls Balls Fried Pellet or other forms.
Cooling and Cutting: Once the puffed product exits the extruder, it’s cooled down and sometimes cut into specific sizes or shapes.
Corn/Maize/Rice Starch Puff Extruder Process:
Mixing : The raw ingredients such as corn/rice/flour are mixed into a Dough Mixer to feeding hopper of extruder machine.
Extrusion : The dough is subjected to high heat and pressure. The screw inside pushes the mixture through the machine head & die.
Expansion : As the mixture exits through the die, the pressure drops suddenly, causing the mixture to expand and form puffs.
Drying OR Cooling Of Puffs : The puffs are cooled and dried to remove excess moisture, giving them the crispy texture.
Flavoring OR Seasoning (optional): For seasoning Flavoring Purposes of Spices , Oil powders, like cheese, barbecue, or sour cream Etc.
